ThermoBionics is not developing a new type of textile, like other apparel companies — we are developing an actual Bionic with active cooling. 

 

Bionics, like exoskeletons that assist a person to lift heavy loads, merge man and machine. ThermoBionics' Polaron-DT technology does this as well. 

 

Polaron-DT synthetically manages the body’s thermoregulatory function, significantly reducing the need for us to sweat and ensuring moisture evaporation regardless of outdoor temperature and humidity. The technology uses water and small, low power fan units to deliver powerful evaporative cooling, mimicking the body's sweat function.  

 

Our proprietary, patent pending technology allows us to do this for a minimal amount of weight, size and power draw -  something that conventional refrigeration methods and other cooling technologies cannot achieve.
